UPDATES COMING. I am going to add some new pictures from diving in Seattle in August and the Gulf in early September. I am going to try and focus a little more on the photography side as I am not teaching at the moment because of my real job! Someone asked me yesterday if I was a photographer and I said 'No, I am a guy with a nice camera, and I take a lot of shots to get one or two good ones'. I would like to move towards being a photographer!
Pictures from my trip on 9/4/10 with AMERICAN DIVERS to the Texas Clipper and a rig are posted in the TONS OF STEEL tab to the left. Below is one of the pictures from that trip. Please enjoy the pictures and feel free to check out all the other pics from CA and the NW
From a rig dive on 9/4/10.
Me in the Hood Canal on 8/22/10 - cold, dark, deep diving - MY FAVORITE KIND OF DIVING!!! LOOK MUM....no more goatee.....I finally got rid of it!
DIVING THE LITTLE SARA
Once again I get to thank AMERICAN DIVERS for a great trip out into the Gulf. It is still a little early for the really good diving conditions and the tropical fish, but with water temps in the top end of the 60's I was almost too hot in a 5mm wetsuit....a far cry from the La Jolla Shores!!
I have posted pictures of the dive and a short dive report. The big deal was nearly losing my camera....again! I love the boat, the people and the service from American Divers. Tim and his team make it safe and fun BUT .....they will play country music between dives...YOU CAN TAKE THE BOY OUT OF ENGLAND, BUT YOU CANNOT TAKE ENGLAND OUT OF THE BOY! I may live in Texas, but I still have no boots, no hat and no ear for country music. George Strait...who is he? Take a look at the pics from this dive and "LAKE TRAVIS DIVE' and FIRST GULF DIVE. Diving in Texas
I am having fun diving in Texas but just not doing enough of it! Above are pictures from the gulf and Lake Travis, Take a look at the tabs for dive stories and pictures. Check out the first three tabs in the bar on the left hand side of this page.
2008 Galapagos whale shark
Since I learned how to put a video up on the site, I thought that I would put one of mine up. This is video that I shot in the Galapagos in 2008. I have a couple of other videos of sharks, turtles and an underwater car wreck, and you can find them by putting 'reducedbubble' in the seach bar.
