GIVING THANKS FOR DIVING!
I like an adventure, so taking off with a truckload of diving gear and a new camera on the Wednesday evening before Thanksgiving was my idea of fun! The goal - get there, pack as many dives in as I could and get back on Friday morning....mission accomplished!
I was lucky to meet up with Troy who was there with Jenn. Therefore, we got to do a number of dives together which added to the fun, especially given that Troy has a camera too, and you need to be a camera person to swim with a camera person. We did a late night dive on Wednesday night and then four good long dives at the shores on Thursday. The beach was busy, the sun was shining, and conditions were perfect for diving.
Take a look at the pictures below....there is so much to see at the shores if you just slow down and look. The highlight was watching a sheepshead attack an octopus. See the picture in the set below. The pictures are getting better with the new camera, but I still have a lot to learn.
PS....I slept in the back of my truck....see if you can find the pic!
